Thank you. I do use it in my writing. I'm an investigative reporter and I've just written my first book, back home. It might not seem that a writer would use analytical skills in their work but I do: when I gather facts about a story or a case I want to write about, I do need to figure out which facts are important and which are not. Analytical thinking also does play a part in the creative process, in deciding how to structure and tell the story based on the information you have.
When I was last home, it was December of 2017. I say "just" but it's been nearly fifty years since we first landed on the moon. In my time we had sent unmanned probes beyond the solar system, and to Mars and Jupiter for extended exploration.
May I ask what year it was in your home? And where you hail from, if not Earth?
apologies for the lateness of this reply! ;;
Your grasp of logical approaches to writing is exemplary. While I am unacquainted with many authors in my world, the descriptions of their writing process often lacks any logic or analysis, and some might benefit from a more studied approach such as one you hold.
It is the year 2259. I was born on Vulcan, which has been destroyed in my world.
NO WORRIES seriously i am never fussed about late replies ok let's just tag
[ ...oh. ]
I assume Vulcan was a planet, as you said you were born "on" it? My deepest condolences on your loss. On your people's loss.

If this isn't too jarring a change of subject: do you drink coffee or tea?
no subject
I imbibe both, though tea is my preference. Are you by chance suggesting a coffee date?
no subject
I am. If you would be interested in arranging some in-person conversation sometime. I would be.

What is your schedule like?

And what about your schedule?

That being said, I am most often free early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
